Position: Sr. Test Engineer
Location: Moorpark, California
Description: As part of the test development team for the Smart Grid industry, the Sr. Test Engineer will perform thorough review of various power grid related standards, protocols and testing programs in order to generate a very detailed test specification and/or recommendation to the Smart Grid project teams. The Sr. Test Engineer will be responsible for review, development and execution of testing suites, products and certification programs. · Responsible for thorough review of existing technology standards, protocols and related technologies in the Smart Grid industry. · Develop detailed test specification that addresses conformance and interoperability testing of the related standards, protocols and related technologies. · Responsible for development of the actual testing suites and related programs that fulfill the requirements in the test specification including test automation. · Document, prioritize and communicate test results to internal and external groups. · Responsible for test execution and analysis of test results including recommendation of how to resolve test defects. Qualifications · BS in Engineering, Math, Computer Science or related experience · Be able to communicate effectively both in written and oral form. · Have previous testing experience in the energy/power grid industries. · Working knowledge of XML, UML, SOA, SOAP/REST (Required). · Have previous involvement in standards groups (ideally). · Working knowledge of SCADA, IEC 61850/61968(CIM), DNP3, OpenADR (ideally).

Position: Test Technician

Description: QualityLogic Inc. provides testing products and services to the imaging and telecom industries. We have multiple temporary positions available for Test Technician's with strong networking skills. In this position you will follow test plans or perform ad hoc testing; communicating results to the development teams through the Test Lead and establish defect-reporting systems within the R&D Lab. Services will include the following, but this list may not be all-inclusive:· Test software/hardware functionality, compatibility and system integration· Test software and printers per the hardware configuration and software test plan· Duplicate and characterize defects for the development teams· Assist the design team in the failure analysis of defects· Testing of software/installation/localization Skill Set and Qualifications: · Good understanding of Network infrastructures· Good understanding of PC\Network configurations· Excellent Troubleshooting Skills· Good Work Ethic· Testing Experience· Team Player.
